My recipes run the gamut from completely original to “influenced-by”, popular dish hacks, tweaked and improved, adjusted for specific locations and elevations, and recipes that honour innovators and OGs. Read the musings that accompany each recipe to learn more about why I was inspired to share it with you.

Sadly, I have an anaphylactic allergy to anything that lives in water including fish, shellfish, crustaceans and molluscs. For this reason, I do not eat or cook seafood and I cannot test or improve upon any of the recipes for these dishes. My own repertoire of ocean-centric dishes is limited, but perhaps the future of The Folded Apron will include collaborations with other food creators who know seafood better than me. Stay tuned!
